It’s finally here, the release of The Introduction! Be sure to download, rate and comment. We have 6 days left to chart on iTunes so I need all of your help to make it happen. Thanks so much for spreading the word!
I’m so excited about the new release. There are 18 songs on the CD! I know how long many of you have been waiting and I wanted to give you almost 2 CD’s in one.
Tomorrow is the CD release party. If you’re in LA and you haven’t RSVP’d, you can do that here. The party is from 7-11, it’s free and thanks to KROL Vodka, there’s an open bar! Be sure to get there right at 7 because capacity is very limited.
We have some incredible special guests. The amazing Lucy Woodward will be playing and Eric J will be spinning and I’ll be performing most of the songs from the new CD with the sickest band ever! It’s going to be an awesome night!
Airplay is picking up all over the Country and Sirius radio has added officially added the single Worldwide!
The Big For Me video will premiere next we and has been getting critical acclaim.

We’re just 10 days away from the release of The Introduction. I’m so excited that it’s almost here! The video of Big For Me will debut in just days! So much going on!!
For all my LA peeps, I’ve got the details for the CD release party. It’s Thursday August 27th from 7 to 11 pm and it’s free!!! Plus there’s an open bar from 7-9. The amazing Lucy Woodward will also be performing, plus some other surprise guests. It’s going to be an amazing night!!! You can RSVP at jdwebb.rsvp@gmail.com. I’m headed to New York Monday for a press junket. Man I love New York this time of year. It’ll be a great time. I’ll give you guys the details on where you can find the interviews and articles as they come.

15 days until my CD release!!! I can’t wait for all of you to hear “The Introduction.” I poured so much of my soul in to this project. I’m looking forward to hearing what your favorite tracks are, which songs move you and what you take away from the music. For me, this is the cool part where it goes from being mine to becoming ours.

I’m still deep in Christmas CD mode and it’s coming together! I’ll be giving you some previews along the way.
If all of this isn’t enough to keep me beyond busy, I’ve been writing a bunch for other artists, as well. Right now (believe it or not!), I’m working on a couple of country songs. Now you know that I’m an R&B guy, but I have to say, I really love the way that country songs tell a story. It’s been fun.

It’s August which means my CD drops THIS MONTH!!!! Things are so exciting. The Big For Me video is almost finished, we’re getting new adds on radio and the release party is shaping up to be out of this World!
Typically I talk about all the exciting music news in my blog, but this week I want to share a little about this project and the journey. Most of you know that before recording my CD, I was deciding if I would take sign another major label deal or go against the grain and sign with a label that would let me express my creativity the way that I heard it in my head. As you probably know, I went with the latter. The vision of Infinite Music Group is to be the Motown of yesteryear. A place where talent can truly shine and real artistry is celebrated. That is why this CD is honestly so much bigger than me. It’s about any artist that’s ever had a dream to let their voice be heard. Anyone that hates the corporate phoniness of the major labels, for every person that has turned on the radio and said, “If I have to listen to this lame song one more time, I’m going to put a bullet through my radio,” this CD and this label is for you. That’s why I hope every one of you that read this will join the street team, join the movement and spread the word. This project is about all of us!
